Mahindra equips the XUV700 with two powertrain options.
It comes in two power levels as a 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol with 200 hp/380 Nm and a 2.2 liter diesel.
156 hp/360 Nm (MX trim) and 185 hp/450 Nm (AX trim).
The 156-horsepower unit is paired with its six-speed manual, while the rest of the powertrain is available in both manual and six-speed automatic options. The SUV comes standard with front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available as an option on the AX7 AT diesel trim. Diesel engine has four modes of operation as Zip, Zap, Zoom, and Custom (individually).
